The Secret Garden... Cafe

With the weather getting pleasant on me, it makes me craves some patio dining. What can I say? I'm a Dallas girl through & through. I live for these sunny 8 months of the year. Those cold months make of eating indoors make us pale & chubby. (Yeah, we all love "sweater season" for the same reasons.)

With a nod to my new surroundings of East Dallas, my old friend Grant & I decided to venture to Junius Heights for lunch yesterday. Garden Cafe uses ingredients from their own expansive garden to make their fresh & delicious fare. The food was wonderful, the staff friendly, and the good outdoor weather a necessity for getting the "full experience."

I had the veggie plate (cheese grits are a vegetable, right?) and Grant had Mama's meatloaf. Needless to say, we weren't complaining & we will be returning.
