My favorite Interior Designer

Dear You Out There,

If you haven't met our new Interior designer, Beth Dotolo, you have yet to see the full potential of what we're bringing right into the middle of your neighborhood. I met Beth about 4 years ago and liked her immediately - not knowing we'd end up with so much in common. As I saw her work on projects and win design awards, I wanted this friend of mine and I to collaborate over more than a friday night sip. Being in the middle of a start-up design company, a turn-around of a local boutique, and a remodel of a 1930's house in UP, I was in over my head! I begged Beth to take over the Interior Design of my home - something I couldn't bring myself to trust anyone else with. She agreed, and I loved every aspect of working with her - no surprise.

Here's the thing that sets Beth apart–she obviously has incredible design sense, but she also has 3 other things that one is hard-pressed to find in an Interior Designer with her skill level and credentials. First, she's organized. Her notes and follow up were so good, they were almost intimidating. Second, Beth works smart and fair. I see her bill under the hours she works because she knows the benefit of keeping a balance between hard work and happy clients. Third, she maintains great relationships with her design and manufacturing resources. This is what the clients don't see, but they'll feel it. It's also a quality of person I like to work with.

Fast-forward about a year to Nest, and I found myself getting about 2 requests a week for interior design services that I wasn't qualified, and frankly, didn't have time for. After begging and bribing - Beth joined our team and I have been thrilled ever since–and so have our clients!

Questions we get often about Interior Design at Nest:
Q: Can you just do my curtains?
A: Yes! We're happy to help you no matter how big or small your job is.

Q: I'm looking for someone to help me remodel and build. Can you do that?
A: Absolutely - and that's Beth's specialty. Besides the rigorous certifications an Interior Designer has to pass, Beth pursued the license for LEED AP, giving her the benefit of working with those wanting to build adhering to some of the most rigid standards.

Q: I need help, but I don't see anything in the store that I want specifically. Is there anything else?
A: Oh yes - there SO much more! Beth has an office in our store so you can meet her when she's there, and so she can meet with you at a convenient place. She also has an office in our group's office space on Dragon Street - in the heart of the Design District. With her, you have access to all the showrooms, the latest trends, and whatever style fits your home best.

Q: How do your design services work?
A: Email any of us at Nest and we'll email you back the outline of our services. It's simple and you'll find there's quite a few perks lined up for our clients to enjoy.

Q: Why does Beth's service differ from any other Interior Designer I could use?
A: This is the best part! Besides just getting Beth as your Interior Designer–here it is in a nutshell: Behind the big Oz-like curtain of retail buying and "trade only" interior design showrooms, there are certain restrictions that limit a store owner or a designer from buying into certain lines, or getting the maximum discount that those lines offer. In short, a designer can shop at the dallas market, sure, but they can't buy the same things in the same way that a store owner can, and vice-versa. Together, we get the best of both worlds, and we pass that along to you. You'll see that in our client perks program - it's incredible!
