For this Design Do-Gooders post, I've decided to highlight an event that features designers and artists of all kinds that have come together for a good cause!
On Saturday, May 9th, at Club Dada artists of all kinds will be gathering together to support a great cause! The UltraViolet Rock Show and Art Auction supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the hopes to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. There will be great music and great art up for auction... not to mention t-shirt screen printing & a groovy photo booth. It's always a great time and it feels great to be a part of something so good. And, of course, all proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
UltraViolet came about when the front woman of the band Lovie and the bass player for El Gato's daughter, Violet, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Ever since the local music and art community has come together to fight for a cure for this beautiful girl. Not only will this will be the 3rd Annual UltraViolet Rock Show and Art Auction that artists have joined together to create, but there is also a fabulous UltraViolet compilation album out that features well known local artists! Even a few of Nest's very own have items up for auction! Greg Piazza and Fourply Designs have generously donated items for auction. You're sure to get a great deal and give money to a great cause.
