Working out.. blah. I would so much rather spend my time shopping, driving with my windows down & cranking some good tunes, enjoying breakfast with my friends, or doing absolutely nothing. I just want to hit the gym... in the face.

Typically, I have been bribed by those I love (or sometimes myself) with goals in order to inspire me to break a sweat. I can be wooed by jewelry, money, or... well, that's actually it. However, I realized this weekend that I could be conned into cardio through another means- travel!

My uncle Blair came into town & presented us with a t-shirt for the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k in Charleston as an invitation to join them in the race next year. The 6(ish) miles jaunt starts in the woods of South Carolina, takes you across the giant Cooper River Bridge, and then crosses you into the finish line in historic downtown Charleston. Now THAT gets me excited!

45,000 people ran this race last year. FORTY FIVE THOUSAND PEOPLE. Wow. Well, add 2 more to that number for 2010. The Knights will be there! (We just aren't posting our finish times....)

Has anyone ever run this race? Surely someone out of the 45,000 participants loves good decor blogs. I'm dying to hear more!
